We request a 6-month commitment to provide a consistent therapeutic journey, complemented by the prerequisite of engaging with an individual therapist, whether from LATN or externally. Our small-sized therapy groups (6-8 members) facilitate effective individual therapeutic work. Complex Trauma / DID Group
When: Every other Saturday, 10am-12pm

Our Complex Trauma/DID Group is a place of understanding and healing for survivors of extreme childhood abuse and/or adult abuse. While not everyone in the group has DID, we welcome individuals who are ready to address their specific issues. Each session begins with a check-in, setting the stage for open and meaningful discussions.
Group leader Cindie fosters a group-centered approach, encouraging clients to engage and learn from each other actively. While the group often flows naturally, Cindie provides prompting questions when needed to guide the conversation. Participants conclude each session by sharing one valuable insight or gain from the group, contributing to their healing journey.
With over 25 years of experience as a feminist therapist, Cindie has honed her expertise in trauma, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ support, and more. As a Trauma Expert, she is dedicated to aiding survivors of sexual assault, childhood abuse, and a range of traumatic experiences. Her versatile therapeutic approach integrates EMDR, Sandplay Therapy, and other methods tailored to individual needs.
Cindie also leads the LA Queer Group and PTSD Women’s group, offering a safe and inclusive space for diverse individuals seeking support and healing.
LA Queer Group

Our LA Queer Group is a dedicated space for LGBTQIA+ professionals, particularly women, non-binary, and transgender individuals, who are part of the professional and creative sectors.
Here, we address a wide spectrum of topics relevant to your life journey, including relationship challenges, identity exploration, past traumatic experiences such as intimate partner violence, grief from traumatic losses, coping with sexual trauma histories, navigating complex family dynamics, dealing with long-term partner breakups, and managing significant life transitions.

Our PTSD Women’s Group in Long Beach is a haven for women who have experienced the profound effects of trauma and are navigating the path toward healing. Healing Trauma Through Art and Journaling Group

With over two decades of experience, Stephanie specializes in aiding individuals previously homebound due to psychological or physical conditions. Her expertise encompasses severe mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia, PTSD, and Depression, with a strong focus on the impact of traumatic events and childhood trauma.
Group leader Stephanie’s holistic approach to therapy centers on her intuitive understanding of clients as multifaceted individuals influenced by their origins, life experiences, societal interactions, career dynamics, and spirituality. She excels at guiding clients toward self-discovery, helping them unlock hidden potentials.
Sexual Assault Survivor Group (SASS) – Remote

Our Sexual Assault Survivors Group (SASS) offers a unique and supportive space for women who have experienced sexual assault, with members who are all at a similar stage of healing.
While the group consists of individuals who have overcome the impact of past assaults, it may not be the ideal fit for those who have experienced a recent assault.
SASS is a collective of women in their 30s to 40s who have come together to navigate their journeys of healing and recovery, making it an empowering community for survivors. It’s important to note that this group is more tailored to individuals who are slightly older and may not be the best fit for those who are in their late teens or early twenties.
Group leader Sara’s expertise spans across a diverse client base, including individuals, children, couples, and families. She specializes in addressing a wide range of concerns, from complex trauma and childhood abuse to post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, and grief. Sara is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients to embark on their healing journeys.
Trans Women Group

Our Trans Women Group is a space designed to offer support, understanding, and connection to transgender women, as well as gender-queer and non-binary individuals. Our group goes beyond the realm of transitioning or gender-related concerns. It’s dedicated to fostering personal growth, addressing life transitions, navigating career changes, and addressing other pertinent topics within a safe and welcoming environment.
Whether you’re in the process of transitioning, have already transitioned, or identify as gender variant, you’ll find a place here to connect and relate. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, with some living a dual life due to professional circumstances, while others are fully open about their gender identity. We’re here to provide support, no matter where you are on your journey.
Group leader Melissa specializes in navigating the challenges of queer and transgender issues, as well as individuals dealing with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Additionally, she offers support for adult survivors of childhood abuse and adult children of narcissists and provides couples therapy, including alternative families and family therapy.
