This is a comment about a topic that comes up repeatedly in therapy with women who are trauma survivors. They take on the survival strategy of making themselves invisible. The result often is also linked with a feeling of being unworthy or unimportant. Being invisible also results in being left out, isolated and alone. It also locks in your trauma.
